Dedicated to friends, family, and the new families you're beginning together.
Given that dedication, I was particularly motivated to get this one right. Not that I'm not usually, just particularly so for this one. I threw out most of my self-imposed rules so that I could be unencumbered by anything I'd already done in previous compilations. There's still a lot I just don't know how to do, though, so there's a few things I'd have done differently if I could have figured out how, or had the right tools, or maybe some choices I'd have made differently if I had a broader library to work with. In the end, it still came out alright. Just not exactly what I wanted. But that's normal for any kind of semi-creative project, right? There's some new tracks, some old tracks, some very old tracks, some repeats from old mixes, some of my very favorite tracks, some mastering problems (lookin' at you, Ghost), some cringy bits, some processing artifacts, but one consistent theme. Mostly. One or two misfits. It's fine, though. This is fine. It's all fine. Everything's fine. We're all fine here, now.... how are you? ... Sigh ... Boring conversation anyway.
