Two years and change in the making, and it's not even very good. Basically, I finally gave up on trying to fix it. I like the slow opening build-up, I like the conclusion and outro, but between Reign and La Fabrica is probably the most generic crap I have and is basically only there to bridge them. And then, as a whole, I didn't get the flow I was going for. As usual, though, I like so many of the tracks individually, and I hope I did manage to do at least some moderately interesting things—though at the end of the day, I'm under no illusion that I do much more than pick some songs and put them in a line. I suppose what I can say is that it works just fine as background music; it works just fine as long as you're not listening too closely. Sigh. Maybe it'll grown on me; it's happened before. Maybe not. Bleh. I say, bleh.

Up side: I discovered a plugin that really helped with equalization and keeping the volume level for the most part, plus some interesting stereo effects. It came stock. I've had it all these years. Dang. Of course it's not perfect, and it made the trebel in a couple spots pretty harsh if you're listening on headphones. Sorry about that.

Fun fact: I couldn't find a legitimate copy of A Downside to Belonging—the publisher went out of business years ago—so it's actually an audio rip from YouTube. I had a similar issue with Going Down, too. I had to rip it from Jake Chudnow's SoundCloud page because it hit a download limit and got disabled probably years ago now. It's an interesting track in part because of its 14/8 time signature. I'm pretty sure it's 14/8 because of the snare hit that would be very oddly syncopated if it were 7/4. It's weird and kinda neat. Y'know, in a nerdy sort of way.

Thanks to Jannica once again for the awesome eye for awesome artwork to steal and then putting awesome title text on it.

I think I'm pretty much out of viable source material at this point. Who knows when the next one will be.

And, as always, thanks for listening.
